The world knows evolution has leaped forward, knows that mutants exist. Years have passed since Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr created the X-Men and the Brotherhood, both in hopes of helping mutant kind, but with vastly different approaches. Xavier and Lehnsherr have since disappeared among the controversies regarding mutants and their place in the world. The X-Men are struggling to stand firm in their place in a world that does not know what to do with their kind.
